DelistMEK.com is developed by members of the community of Iranian-Americans who have family members in Camp Ashraf, Iraq. It intends to educate the public about the views of the U.S. Congress; prominent U.S. national security, military, and policy figures; and subject matter experts about the necessity of the prompt removal of the MEK from the U.S. State Department’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO). DelistMEK.com also makes available open source and public documents which have been a basis for these prominent figures’ call on the administration to end the FTO designation of the MEK.
It is the belief of the families of residents of Camp Ashraf that de-listing of the MEK is essential to the safety and security of their loved ones and will facilitate a solution for the growing humanitarian crisis there. Without such a resolution, many observers believe, another massacre by the Iraqi army is on the horizon.
